lyrics
I know something about places to go
Everyone’s got somewhere to go
I know something my girlfriend don’t
That girl, she’s got somewhere to go
Lay down instead
You can’t trust the world you’re in
Be food, be fed
The feeling starts in your head
I know something about places to go
Everyone's got somewhere to go
I know something my girlfriend don’t
That girl, she’s got somewhere to go
I’m dead
You can’t trust the world you’re in
Be food, be fed
The feeling starts in your head
And I can’t be relied on
To be at home
To write a sad song about you
I won’t write it
But I’ll get so many other things done
Call it something
Something you understand
You got ideas, you got better chances
The lights off, your fire’s on
When it’s getting hard to stand
You need a reason to come back
One more last one
Leaving it behind til I’m otherwise inclined
I’ll walk on, foregone
When it’s out of your hands
You need a reason to come back
Waiting in line got so hard again
Now I wanna tear it, tear it
Tear it all apart
The end could never be worse than the start
Close your eyes, go back within
You can’t trust the world you’re in
Close your eyes, go back within
You can’t trust the world you’re in
And you won’t miss it
Unless you wanna
But it won’t miss you
And I can’t be relied on
To be at home
To write a sad song about you
I won’t write it
But I’ll get so many other things done
God I love this album, unlike the others this music feels a bit more free.like there was less forced polishing, less overthinking put into it,just pure music. Everytime I listen to this album I get goosebumps.the sounds are just glorious, it’s as if the sounds are moving between the folds of my brain like a stick floating, following the path of a river. sethalogical
Nashville’s Daisyhead write tense, searching songs, where tender vocals push their way through tight nets of guitar. Bandcamp New & Notable May 1, 2017
Fuzzy Austin trio follow up their first album in 20 years, released in Spring 2015, with a stomping new EP of noisy rock & roll. Bandcamp New & Notable Feb 26, 2016
The Morrison-sounding vocals, the smooth grooves... If you're into this genre, just buy their discography in one shot - you won't be disappointed. Every album is gold. Rudolf Nisbeth
